dawid
This thread really helps to ease the wait.I now believe my agent when he said that the internet status is not always correct. Remember I staues in "To be allocated" for just over 16 weeks, then it moved to "With Asessor" and the very next day (last week Friday) I received the email that my results have been posted. I only hope that this does not foretell something bad. No I believe it will be good. Remember I also bargain on an MDOL.I have received a tracjing number in the same email and it now apprears on the auspost web-site as already in the same town as where my agent is. I home that they will then get it tomorrow morning and respond to me.Jacques and Natalie - Congratulations. My age is getting in the way, which mean that I need the MDOL points or else I will need to try for state sponsorship. For those in the line next to and a bit behind me - please stand firm. Michele R
Hey,How do we get this discussion pinned under the important topics? Think it might be worth as a lot of people are doing and will still do their ACS assessment. Thanks!

PieterK
PieterK,I hope that your's is next and not far from now.I hope so, next week Wednesday will be 3 months on the dot. The wait has already cost me, Queensland updated their list on 16 Feb, and my occupation was on it. On the 25th they updated again, and now my occupation is off it again. Makes you wonder what is going on when states update their lists every 9 days.
dawid
Now that the ACS is behind me and I need State Sponsorship, where do I start to try and see the lists of skills on their lists? That is now the extra 10 points that I need.Regards

dawid
At this point I need a State Sponsorship and I want to go to Oz.My mind say that I must take the shortest route there and move after I have done my two years.Sydney was always in my mind with Adelaide a short step behind.Regards
PieterK
Then you're not going to like me much for what I'm about to tell you:NSW has always been a tough nut to crack as far as state sponsorship is concerned, and currently their list of occupations is very short.South Australia has taken all IT occupations off of their list, and from what I hear the IT job market is pretty much dead right now. Queensland still offers a lot of options for IT guys, even though mine has been taken off, and Canberra also offers quite a few options. Tasmania and Northen Territories also has very short lists at the moment, with only a few IT occupations on offer.
