It also shows many people who have applied etc. Most of the guys on the CSL who lodged in Jan already have case officers.If you look at the times it took from last year November to allocate CO's up until now it seems like the time before a CO is allocated is getting shorter. 5 months from what I can see. Kit Posted July 27, 2009 Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 Michele, how long did your PCCs take?By the looks of things we're only going to be able to apply for the visa (175 CSL) in October (September if we're really lucky - hurry up ACS!)... I've been weighing up in my mind whether to frontload the PCCs, and if we should do that, trying to figure out when to apply for them (for eg 2 months after applying for the visa, then if they take 2 months+ and we get a CO 6 months after applying)... so there's as little delay as possible without cutting short our 'visa activation' period. Any recommendations, seeing how lately they've been going through the visa applications quickly and assigning COs +- 6 months after application? Is it better to just 'do the time' and wait until requested by the CO? I'm leaning towards just waiting... If you estimate that you should get a CO withing 6-7 months, then 4 months gives you a bit of leeway either side. You'll still get the PCC and medicals in before the CO requests it, but you're also not cutting the activation period too fine.Good luck with the application! Migration agent is telling us we should be assigned a CO any day (month) now and we're wanting to stall the process a bit so that we only have to leave towards the end of 2010.
