Up to date we have received almost $5 000 into the hospital account and it seems so unreal that 6 months ago I was crying over $30 100, what a long time ago that was! Have a good night everybody! So how now ?The hospital accept credit card payments, so you would be able to pay with a South African credit card. Perhaps contact Karen at the hospital via email and ask her the best way to set this up.Carolientjie, I am so glad that things are becoming better for you! carolientjie Posted October 31, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 31, 2010 Hi there!Ok, so we are advertising The African Day: On Facebook and Hennie Botha from Musiek Fabriek QLD is also doing his bit, and he will also look after the music on the day; Rochelle will talk about it on her Radio Programme Afrikaans Sonder Grense; Sabona will send it out with their newsletter as will Afrikaanse Klub Australia, we've send it out to everybody we know, posted it here; asked the local newspaper to publish it and I'm going to put up posters today/tomorrow in Toowoomba. I hope with the fundraising day in Maleny and the one to be planned in Toowoomba that we will be big bill free for Kris's birthday, less than 2 months away. What a great Christmas present that will be! Cant believe this busy little man with his first tooth and holding us captive by standing up against us was ever that small little skeleton with skin, it feels like a 1000 years ago! Thank you again! Also I have been approached by a consultant who is willing to assist us for free! Still need the government fees though, but for the first time it feels like we'll get there! carolientjie Posted November 11, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 11, 2010 how is he?Probably not to bad, the thing that gets me though is that after his hospitalization in September I went back after three weeks to get the results only to hear that yes there is something wrong but no we cant understand the results and you need to see a heart specialist, then I get a call from another DR at the hospital and she told me not to worry if his hands turn color, I need to worry if his lips and the inside of his mouth turn color. Then at my follow up pediatric appointment another DR asks me so how many times has his hands turned color? So I'm so confused now! I'm just watching him like a hawk! I'm just on pins and needles, wishing the days away till the 17th Dec, but they'll probably do some more tests? But I'll try to relax, coz my shoulders is so stiff I can't turn my head quickly- feels like I'm tearing a muscle. Can hardly chew any more, my jaw is that stiff, and I constantly burst into tears! I've contacted a place that put's you into contact with a free counselor, hopefully I'll hear something soon, I need to start coping with my life again!
