silvertubes Posted December 9, 2009 Report Share Posted December 9, 2009 So did my usual routine this am, got to work, made myself fresh cup of coffee and logged onto my 'favourite' site to do my daily check up and……… all my docs changed to status Met, with meds and PCC requested. Almost had a mini panic attack, dunno what to do now!! Luckily PCC sent off 4 weeks ago, and meds booked for Thursday, so who knows, I just might get my Visa for Christmas….Ho Ho Ho….mine happened the same, also had my medical booked for thursday in cpt. But my wife got her... uhm "time of the month" ... which means she cant do the urine test, so we have to wait. Moved the booking to next week friday. Was also hoping for an xmas visa, but i think it will have to be an early new year visa, just hope nothing changes on the CSL in january! Include as much of the followingevidence as possible:a] Bank statements showing payment of salaries into personal bank accountsb] Taxation DocumentsI have already uploaded my 2 company reference letters and the last payslip from both those companies. has this happened to anybody else? silvertubes Posted December 15, 2009 Report Share Posted December 15, 2009 (edited) I had already uploaded the 3-4years of payslips (lucky had access to them electronically) before we got a CO, i think its best to give them all the info upfront, as now all they have asked for is our medicals. Nothing about sars or banks statements.Not to say they dont ask for that once we do the medicals though. But yeah... i reckon if he says jump, you jump! So just gotta get them collected, go for medicals next week and then...........................Oh.. and um, if the CO has asked for stuff (in our case PCCs and meds), do they send any subsequent emails requesting other stuff, or is there only ever one email and this is it? Thanks Kit. When and where are you planning to go to Aus, as I see our timelines are similar? We're planning to go to Melbourne ASAP - If we get Visa in Jan/Feb, want to try land a job soon after and be in Melbourne in Feb/Mar.My agent reckons once they request PCC and Med, it's almost a done deal and it's highly unlikely they'll request more info. I see the screenshot of the status of the application when they requested the additional info, and all other items status was changed to "Met", which I assume means they're happy with everything else. How're all your preparations coming along? Finished sanding/varnishing yet?Craigsa, I don't see you on the list! But I see your signature! We're planning to activate the visas asap (depending on when we get them, of course, but we're hoping to 'pop over' in September), but move there sometime next year. Hubby is committed to his job until the end of this year, so after that it's just a matter of closing up shop and shifting our butts to Ozland! We're looking at Brisbane. We've both been to Sydney and Brisbane and they both seem great. Sydney's very cool but the cost of living there is offputting (for now, it depends on our circumstance once we've settled) and Brisbane seems quite nice and we have friends there already so Brisbane here we come! Our application status document checklist says 'received' for everything but the medicals, xrays and PCCs which say 'requested'. This is going to be a LONG wait now that we have a CO... it's weird how every step is LONGGGGGGGG and then each 'further along' step you reach it feels like "this wait is going to be far longer than anything I've ever experienced before"! I've sent off my PCC's now to my agent, but will update signature next week when I'm hoping they submit PCC's to DIAC. Not really sure what to expect from there, but am hoping to have PR approved by end Jan. It might be wishful thinking, but as you mentioned, I'm not sure I can handle much more waiting!! I've never waited this long for anything.....I'm going to start applying for jobs next week in Melbourne, so lets hope the PR comes through ASAP.
