vengefire
Hi Folks, Is it better to schedule the health checks before applying for the visa, or after when they request the health checks? We are applying for a PR visa (189) so we will definitely need to do the health checks (as far as I understand). Regards
SD_MOA
Hi Vengefire, If you are looking to move over to Australia as soon as possible after grant then I recommend you generate your Medical Referrals and HAP Id's as soon as you have submitted your visa application and arrange them straight away. If you want to delay your initial trip to Australia then I recommend waiting until DIBP request them. I hope this helps! Regards

Rich990
Sorry to jump in on your thread, Vengefire. I was just wondering if the health check has an expiration date / how long it is valid for? Thanks, Rich
vengefire
No worries Rich990, I stand to be corrected but I believe they're valid for a year. Steve
