Hi Wilna

I sent you a PM before I saw this post.

I am so sorry we have been without email for a week as we are busy moving house. If I were you I would try and negotiate them down a bit on the $700 rent, maybe get $50 per week off. That is very expensive. It can't hurt to ask! If you can't get them down, just take it, and find something else in the first 2-3 weeks! Don't lose the place, it is in a very central location and it looks nice. We were staying about 5 mins drive away.

Aaagh! I have 3 mins left on this email session at the library so I will say bye for now. Pls contact me as per my PM.

Regards & best of luck! Bronwyn x

Hi Wilna

Dis darem so duur! :ilikeit:

As jy by hulle aansluit (vat jou passpoort en huur-kontrak saam) kry jy verniet half-uur internet per lid per dag. Skoolvakansies is lank hier, jong....

Bel my asseblief!

Hi Bronwyn

Thanks Bob for offering to help us with accommodation!

Dankie vir almal van julle!

Look, Wilna, I know you'll get by in Adelaide over the Christmas / New year period, but it's such a bummer that you have to rock up in town at that particular time of year.

The accomodation people are certainly making sure that you pay to stay with them over the holiday period. I can't believe how much they're charging you guys!

Everyone's leaving town to go to their beachside shacks or to see relatives in other parts of Australia, and so on.

I'm off for about two weeks to see Christmas and New Year in with relatives on the Eyre Peninsula of Sth Aust., 800 kms to the west of Adelaide.

You are coming new to Adelaide right in the middle of my fishing time

I come back on the Wed 2nd or Thursday 3rd, so can help out then somewhat.

Your husband's company may be one of the businesses that actually close down between Christmas and New Year. Many companies do so here in Australia and all the staff take a week off their holidays.

If you need my little caravan, sing out before I leave on Sat 22nd December, before Christmas.

It's registered and ready to go to any caravan park in the Adelaide metro area.

If Ginnie and I were around, I'd insist that you stay over with us to see in the New Year. As it is, my 24 year old son will be the only one looking after the place until we get back, but like all kids, he's as reliable as a "two bob watch" (a watch worth only 20 cents!), so I can't ask him to look after anybody while we're not here. They'd probably end up sleeping out in the paddock with the cows, knowing him!

Let us know if you need anything in the accomodation place . . . . maybe we can give whatever you think of to Bronwyn who might be able to pass it on to you, in between running around for the 10 people staying over at her joint, or you could drop by to introduce yourselves and pick up things.

Hi again Wilna

Yes we have got friendly with an estate agent (who happens to be an ex South African married to an Aussie for 20 years :ilikeit: ). She is an owner of Raine & Horne Burnside. I will PM you her no (but she only works in Burnside & surrounds, not other areas). She let us our first house in Adelaide, she is very nice  .

Regards

Bronwyn
