Hi there guys.

The name is Francois.

I am Afrikaans speaking.

I am 23 and I am a software developer still living in SA (hopefully not for long).

I am looking to move to Australia and as quick as possible.

I have close to 2 years C# programming experience with Sharepoint aswell.

I studied SAP Abap but due to affirmative action I had to fall back on the C# programming.

I must say the people on this forum are GREAT!!!

I want to thank all of you for the information you post!!

Welcome Francois!

Your best bet would be sponsorship - AUS is very keen on Sharepoint skills!

Happy hunting!

I live in the Vaal Triangle but I work in Joburg.

I drive about 200km a day.

The Taxis are driving me insane.

Hows the traffic and overall conditions of the roads there?

I hit a pothole on friday and badly damaged my car thats when I thought enough is enough.

I couldn't believe the potholes when I was over there in January! Unbelievable!

Welcome and good luck with the process. WIth your qualifications, you should get a PR visa very easily.

Welcome Francois,

All of the best with your Aus plans, and especially this visa application process.

Whatever Internet access you have at home or at work will get used overtime from now on :ilikeit: . One of the best ways to take on this migration-job-thingy is to inform yourself to the maximum. Visit sites and read up on everything, then hope for a speedy, smooth ride.

Isn't it amazing what pushes some people over the limits and into this decision. Ours was also one of those unexpected things. My man was working (on something probably very important or interesting) and we had one of the first load shedding power cuts, and his UPS failed, and he came and told me that that was it - let's move to Aus.

Cheers,

TereMel
