Stix Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 Hi all,Here's a short history of our immigration process:My wife and I are planning to go to Brisbane on a 136 visa. I am a Analyst Programmer (IT) (primary applicant) and my wife an Internal Auditor. I started with this looooong process in October 2006 (ACS skills assessment). If I look at the date now, I cannot believe it is that long ago! Everything went well and we submitted our visa application in March 2007.Heard nothing until early December, when medicals and police clearance were requested. Medicals are done, and am still waiting for police clearance (I am on my way there right now to find out - only 2 blocks from my office).If all goes well, we hope to be on our way in August.
