vlooi
I feel that all the running around is far less stressful and far less effort than looking over my shoulder, sleeping at the hospital to watch over my wife and locking every door, gate and window before going to sleep every night . Now that is stressful work... Immigration documents and processes are a breeze in comparison... for me anyway...Keep your head up, its for the better... wislon
vlooi: I feel like that at least once every coupla weeks. Yesterday my sponsor for my 457 backed out, basically at the last minute (we should have been gone by March), citing reasons that didn't make much sense except to say "it's too hard, we don't want to spend the money, and we've changed our minds". This after I'd already signed a work contract.I'll be detailing the details of that particular story soon, along with things to watch out for, warning signs that I either didn't see, or failed to heed at the time. So, basically everything I've done for the past four-or-so months just went down the toilet. Am I disappointed? Heck yeah! But you get up, and you start over. Having got as far as I did, and seeing what was possible and what I was capable of, it's a speed bump. And it's absolutely worth it to keep on trying, and hang in there. It's a big cloud, with a very small silver lining, but at least I got some experience at Aussie interview techniques, and got to see a bit of that lovely country and meet the people. The past two years have been spent slogging away at our 136 visa, waiting for a CO still (another 7 months, probably), we've been waiting since before October 2007. At least we still have that, ticking over in the background.Would I do it again? In a heartbeat (but I'd apply for the 175 this time! ).You're not alone! Just hang in there! It'll all be worth it!w. milo
Haal diep asem girl. More gaan dit beter. Raak rustig.Alles is definitief die moeite werd. Oor en oor en duisend maal oor.
Mupersan
Geez Wilson, thats harsh.. I must admit though I am having one of those days, its taking long, will the sponsor pull out... Mandy and I chatted about this, and if they want to, I will fly over and visit them to discuss and make an agreement of sorts..Vlooi, except for the odd few, who are eternally happy( jokes Tytan), we do have bad days.. This is a very frustrating process. Today I decided that I am not putting my life on hold while waiting.. I will take on the new contracts, and carry on working as if I am not waiting for a visa.. when it arrives, I will deal with things.. But still, in the back of my mind, there is some arsehole still stabbing at the doubt and worry button.
Kaalvoet
hi vlooi, wil net vir jou baie drukkies stuur.
