Retail position in Aus

Tomich

Recommended Posts

I am currently a Regional manager for Woolworths and I am in the process of applying for a permanent residency visa for Australia. However, as this process takes so long, we are also looking at going across on a temporary work visa (457). I'd really appreciate it if anyone can assist me with the names of the biggest retailers in Australia, or has any advice on sponsorship opportunities.

Thanks

Thomas

Hi Tomich,

I am also in the Retail trade in Botswana, and hoping to move to Oz by end of this year. The biggest 2 groups are Coles Myer and Woolworths. Most of the places Mara had mentioned comes under one of these groups. Try the following website for further details:

www.wowcareers.com.au Woolworths career portal

http://www.colesgroup.com.au/Careers/ Coles career site

http://www.frontlinerecruitmentgroup.com/ Retail recruitment agency

All the best

. . .

In 2006 the company called "Coles Myer" sold the Myer stores and then changed its name to "Coles Group". Coles Group became part of Wesfarmers about two months ago.

Thanks for that woodag. At the rate one company is buying another we totally get confused. By the way Jaguar and Land Rover is currently owned by the Tata group from India! Can you believe that?
