Personnel Agencies in Adelaide

Hi there

Please tell me how do personnel agencies work in Adelaide? Are there specialist agencies for specific occupations or are all agencies pretty generalist?

In terms of my visa, I have to work in South Aus for 35 hours a week as a psychologist for one employer for one year. If anyone has any contacts in this line, I would be grateful. I am a clinical psychologist and I am waiting for the South Australian Professional Board for Psychology to register me as a psychologist in that territory. I should hear from them in the next two weeks.

I really don't want to go into private practice as I can't imagine being busy enough in practice to fulfil the required weekly hours of work - at least not in the first year.

Any suggestions for me????

Thanks

Julie :holy:

Hi Julie

Bienkie

Julie,

I spoke to an old mate who's got a Master's degree in Counselling today.

He recommends getting online to see if the South Australian Health & Community Services have jobs for psychologists.

good luck.
