Guest Bronwyn
I thought others might find the Govt of South Aus Department for Transport site interesting. It explains when and how you convert your South African Driver's license over.http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/licences_ce...cation/drivers/More interesting is the online practice test for the Learner's License (Theory). It's on the RAA website.http://www.raa.net/page.asp?TerID=192Take a look and try & pass!

Tazz
Just remember that when you do your learners test and also when you pass your drivers and apply for your drivers card you need the following documents: 1) Your South African drivers licence ( not expired)2) Passport3) Proof of residential address eg rental agreement, rates statement with address, bank statement with address. At the moment the cost for learners is $25-00 and the cost for your Drivers test is $100-00. Driving lessons are $50-00/hourAll the best Edited November 20, 2007 by Tazz
