I have received a few job ads via email, please PM me for more details if you are interested.

The one is at a Corporate Advisory firm seeking to make a number of experienced professional appointments across its Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne offices. The practice delivers a broad range of services including independent expert reports, valuations, purchase price allocations, financial and commercial DDs, investigating accountant functions, model reviews, forecast preparation, litigation support, strategic advice, IPO, M&A and business sale work.

The other is for people in the Finance, Administration and Technology Services teams at Hillsong Church in Sydney. Specifically the following:

- Management/Financial Accountant: Full Time (Hills Campus, Baulkham Hills)

- Accounts Payable/Administrative: Full Time (Hills Campus, Baulkham Hills)

- Administrative Assistant: Full Time (City Campus, Waterloo)

- IT Support: Full Time (City Campus, Waterloo)

I suppose for most of these you would have to be in Australia already and have a valid working permit or visa.

Dear Springbok

I am a Financial Systems Administrator, as well as a IT Trainer in South Africa. In addition to the above-mentioned positions, which is my obvious preference, I can surely also work as a Help Desk/IT Supporter, as a financials Billing, Accounts Payable or Creditors Supervisor, as I have experience in all these field, not forgetting my technical writer, web design and graphics skills. I further have thorough knowledge in the field of Intellectual Property Trademarks, or Patents fields. I truly am willing to do any work for which I qualify and am prepared to start at the bottom again, if necessary and to work my way up to the top. As you probably know, us South Africans, are not at all scared of hard work!

I would really appreciate it sincerely if you could contact me directly via my e-mail address so that I can forward you my abbreviated CV for perusal and I will be ecstatically grateful if you could pass it on to the right recruiters, or employees. Even if you could just le me know where to find the site for the job postings mentioned at the "Hills campus". Is this perhaps anything to do with the talented "Hillsong" Gospel group who toured South Africa last year?

The positions you mentioned seems to be close to my field of expertise and it seems from the note you posted as if you know the ins and outs and know what immigration is all about. In addition you also come across as someone who probably knows the right recruiters or employees who might be interested in this talented, vibrant lady who will be a star and loyal employee to any provider who can enable me to leave the dust of SA behind and start afresh in Australia. I am really desperately seeking to find any employment, so that I can secure a skilled visa, or a 457 sponsorship.

Not that I know exactly how the skilled visa or 457 applications work, but I trust that you have the expertise to, if not too much trouble, provide me with some guided advice in this.

I honestly don't know where to start to get to that "promised" land down under. What I do know is that I will try and try and try and try continuously, until I can also say I have "landed". I do realise that relocation and the immigration process takes time, but once I have secured a job, I will probably be able to go through these processes smoothly and once my visa is secured I can jump on the next flight to Aus, there is nothing which still holds me here and I do not even have to wait for my property to sell or anything such as this.

My direct e-mail address is: [removed]

Looking forward to hearing from you, if and when you can afford me any advice.

Kind regards

Suzette

Hi Suzette

I should have deleted the above posts, as they have already expired. But to answer your questions:

Notwithstanding your qualifications and experience, employers often show little interest when a candidate in not in Australia. I may be wrong, but I doubt that Hillsong Church would sponsor someone on a 457 visa. I saw the positions advertised at church, so there isn't a website where it was advertised.

I will see if I can find a recruiter who might be interested in your CV, please contact me again via PM if you don't hear from me.

Regards

Charl

Hi Suzette,

It may not be my place to comment, but can I suggest removing your CV, or at least the contact details, ID number, address, etc from the post as there is a lot of personal information in there for public view. Forums are a very public place, visible by anyone in the world, and you'd be surprised at what undesirables can do with that much personal information handy...

Best of luck with your job search...

Cheers,

HP.

Hi Charl

Thanks a mil for your quick response. I'll really appreciate it if you could pass my CV on to any of the recruiters which you may think might be interested. It seems as if you are a Christian, if you saw the notices at church, so perhaps you can also on your Church notice board just post a note to say that I'm looking for a 457 sponsorship position as an IT Trainer, or as a Financials Systems Administrator (Specialist in CMS.Net or "Expert") and they can contact me directly. I'll really take any position offered, even if it is just as a Helpdesk/Support person, a PA, a Secretary, or whatever else.

Just a bit more about myself (which one don't normally mention in a CV). I am a devoted Christian and as such I continuously strive to give my very best, myself, at all times. Always delivering above average work output. Amongst colleagues I am known for my ability to handle stressful situations and work pressure exceptionally well with my calm and peaceful nature. Yet, not boring, but an energetic, zesty, motivated worker, encouraged by life itself, with a positive and bouncy attitude, enjoying and functioning well in all spheres of life. I can work independently and/or as a team member. I have an easy-going, friendly personality, which makes me a popular trainer and well-liked amongst the staff and management. I am honest, truthful and sincere in all I do. I take pride in the work I deliver and you will never, ever be embarrassed ever, if recommend me to a person, a company or a recruiter.

The above is off course only possible because I have the living spirit of God in my heart, soul and life. My qualities are not because I’m so good, but only because He is the Director of my soul and the King of my roads. I deeply realize that in myself I am nothing, but by His merciful grace and in Him I am more than a Conqueror.

Sorry for the long-winded response and thanks again for your time and I do hope that I did not bore you with my response, but felt its necessary for you to know that I’m honestly a Christian and therefore accountable to God to live my life according to His Will for my life and according to the prescriptions in His Word.

Kind Regards
