Immel Posted May 30, 2006 Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 Nou-ja... het dit nooit gedink nie, maar nou sit ek ook saam met al julle ander 'ex-pats' pens-en-pooitjies hier in die doer-onder... heel interesante plekkie moet ek bieg...Ek het in Januarie hier in Sydney aangeland en vind dit heel aangenaam so ver... sukkel net bietjie om die regte bly-plek te kry... my kantoor is in Castle Hill, so ek kan ongelukkig nie by die see bly soos al die aqnder Afrikaners wat ek al hier ontmoet het nie - toe het ek maar net gewonder of daar andere is wat ook meer aan die westekant van die stad skuiling soek... laat weet bietjie van julle!!!Gaaf dan - sien uit na 'n geselsie... Riekie Posted May 30, 2006 Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 Immel, jy sal verbaas wees hoeveel "hillbillies" is hier - ek is een van hulle! Daar is vreeslik baie RSAners in die Hills. Toe ek hier kom en dit hoor, het ek ook gewonder waar is al hierdie baie RSAners dan, want ek HOOR net van hulle, maar sien niemand! Soos wat jy hier op die forum vriende maak en ontmoet, leer jy ook hulle uitgebreide vriendekringe ken - BAIE RSAners!! Jy sal verbaas wees hoeveel van ons hier op die forum in die "Hills" bly!! Ek is besig om weer 'n koffie kuier te rëel vir ons klomp - ek sal die info op die forum "post" - dit is altyd lekker om op so 'n manier die mens agter die "keyboard" te ontmoet. Baie van ons het "away from the forum" gesprekke en kuiers. Ons trap nie mekaar se drumpels deur nie, maar ons weet ons sal daar wees vir mekaar waneer dit nodig is en so nou en dan kuier ons lekker saam en geniet mekaar se geselskap.
