I was wondering if anyone knows the regions around Mansfield? I am looking for rental property in the $250 - $300 p.w range. You guys know which suburbs are better than others. Die enigste nadeel is dat Mansfield, Mt Gravatt en daardie areas nie treine het mie maar daar is wel busse. Ook is dit 'n duurder area om te huur. Ek het nou net op www.realestate.com.au gaan loer en daar was net een plek van $300 per week en daar was 'n application in op die huis. Julle gaan seker in Mansfield werk en daar om wil jy daardie area bly. Ek stel voor jy kyk selfs aan die ander kant van die Gateway meer water se kant toe ook. Die verkeer is nie te bad nie. We are very happy there - it is a good suburb.I work in town and take the bus - about 30 minutes. There are buses every 10- 15 minutes in peak time and then every 30- 40 minutes outside peak.Mansfield is a very well located - close to big shopping centres, on good bus routes, close to the freeway, but not noisy. Our kids go to COC (Christiaan Outreach College) in Mansfield, we wanted to stay close to school.I am not clued up on the rental situation in Mansfield as we rented somewhere else quite distance away.You could contact Bill Hooper at Mansfield reality - a real estate agent focussing mainly on Mansfield. We are also planning to send our daughter (5) to Christian Outreach College when we arrive, thus my interest in Mansfield. Unfortunately I have not been able to secure a job yet.
