The Executive General Manager of Qantas, Mr John Borghetti, said the airline would offer six additional return services operating from Sydney to Johannesburg via Perth to cater for demand during what was a traditionally popular travel period."This is the peak summer school holiday season and we expect demand to be particularly high during those two months," Mr Borghetti said.Mr Borghetti said the extra services would be operated by Boeing 747-300 aircraft on:- 8, 15 and 22 December 2007; and - 5, 12 and 19 January 2008. The flights leave Sydney at 10.35am, arriving in Perth at 1.20pm; then depart Perth at 2.35pm and arrive in Johannesburg at 6.05pm.The return services depart Johannesburg at 8.05pm, arriving in Perth at 12.10pm the next day.
