I've used it for the past two years (while in SA) and am chuffed with it. If SARS owes you a refund then I strongly suggest using it as one's assessment and therefore refund is done much faster than when submitting a hard copy. And you have to have a South African bank account, into which your refund (if any) will be paid.I completed my tax return online and submitted it on 18 August, SARS made a refund deposit into my bank account on 25 Sept., a mere 25 working days later! He has been the chairperson of the Gauteng financial accountants board for a number of years, and he is very honest about tax - he wont cheat, as he says there are lots of legal ways to avoid paying tax - you just have to know how they work - and he does!
