Guest juno1
Hello, I'm hoping someone living in Perth will be able to throw some ideas my way. My parents fly into Perth first week Feb 2008. It will be their first visit to Australia. We shall be spending a few days in Perth before moving on, so I am hunting high and low for fully furnished self catering accommodation for four adults, possibly six. We are all well over 40 years of age. No children. Any suggestions on good areas to stay? Is it better to stay at the beach or Fremantle? I have been on all the accommodation websites and so far nothing has matched what I am looking for. I know there is something out there. I just haven't found it yet

Mary
Hi Juno1I searched for ages for holiday accommodation for when we first get to Perth. Finally decided on Hillarys Harbour Resort - on the beach, about 15 km from Perth CBD. There's a swimming pool in the complex and its right on the Hillarys Marina where there's lots to do. I think it works out to $120 a night for an apartment. Try googling "hillarys harbour resort". Mary
Guest juno1
Thank you Camper and Mary, I regularly visit Stayz.com.au. Hillarys Resort seems more for families with children? I might be wrong?
DesV
Have a look at this placehttp://www.regalapartments.com.au/It is in East Perth, has undercover parking and I was quite happy with it when we stayed there, it is away from the back packer environment, easy acsess to Mitchel freeway, close to city, you should hire a car for your visit.Self catering fully equipedCheers.Des

Guest juno1
Thank you for your responses. Finally feel as if I am making progress We know where Regal Apartments is having ran past there several times. Part of our regular route during our first few weeks in Aus when we were based in Perth. Seems to be what we are looking for. We are driving up so will have our own vehicle.
