MINING PROJECT MANAGER

This company is a minerals exploration company focused on the development of one of the most significant undeveloped uranium deposit in Australia. With this operation located in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia, our client’s range of properties and projects also include other copper, gold, uranium and base metals across South Australia and Western Victoria.

Reporting to the CEO, the Project Manager will be based in Adelaide. You will build and lead the project development team. With a strong focus on the underground mining aspects of the project you will be responsible for engaging the relevant consultants and contractors to prepare and present the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), the Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) and, the subsequent construction of the project..

Your Responsibilities include:

 Ensuring that the underground mine and full project development are technically and commercially viable and environmentally sustainable into the future

 Maintaining a key focus on the key project milestones and deliverables, including meeting all statutory requirements, environmental and safety standards.

You will possess:

 Proven leadership of multidiscipline project teams in the resources sector

 Tertiary qualifications in a mining engineering, or related, discipline.

 At least 15 years in the mining industry, with at least 10 years involved in the development of underground mines;

 Project management of feasibility studies and experience in project execution

 Knowledge of mining industry and underground mining. Uranium sector knowledge will be highly regarded.
