Dedrei
sonnetjie
In my opinion the Anglican Church would be pretty close to the NG. Whatever the denomination you choose if I were you I would try a number of churches out, till you find one that you really comfortable with. Don’t give up after the first church you try out. It takes a while to find your feet.
Lmari
Maar net my mening.Lekker dag daar in die noorde.L'mari
Otto
sonnetjie
Dedrei In my opinion the Assemblies of God (AOG) is closets to the AGS. Use the following link to find an AOG church http://www.aog.org.au/ContactUs/FindAChurc...33/Default.aspx Have a look under http://www.australianchristianchurches.com/about.php it gives you a blurp on some of the churches and what they stand for they have link to a number of churches.Find a church:http://www.christiansonline.com.au/listing...arch.asp?mcID=1 In my opinion in South Africa there are many nominal Christians, in Australia the people that attend church, attend because they really want to be there. People don’t just attend because they are following a tradition. In my opinion there is a much larger difference between the people that attend church in Australia and those that don’t, compared to my experience from South Africa. That does not make the one group better than the other; it just shows a more distinct different approach to life between the two groups. Otto
Sonnetjie, I couldnt agree more. In my humble opibion there is more Christian people in my ±80 person congragation in Oz, than in my old NG ±1500 congregation in the RSA. Won't even start on the Roman Catholic style NG Kerke in SA, my blood pressure goes up again...
chatterbug
