PerpetualMotion
Hi All!Just a quick question. We have I-Burst Wireles in SA and what I would like to know is if my modem would work in Australia (Victoria). I have been to the Aus I-Burst website and the modems look the same but I'm not sure if my modem would have a zone problem like DVD's and so-on.If anyone can shed some light on this I'd be forever thankfull. Lol...the only way to keep in touch face to face with family back home on Skype.Regards,Tanja
LiezelM
My IT expert husband suggests that you ask the South African i-Burst guys, they might be able to answer your question
milo
Howzit,Just got the answer to my own question about Iburst. No, it can't be used in Australia - only in London - as it is licenced to Vodacom.Asked a very smart guy at our local internet café this morning. Shelleyw
Hi there.I can confirm that it won't work here. I brought mine across from SA and it didn't work, so we had to get an Aussie i-Burst modem which we used for a few months until we were in permanent accomodation which had ADSL.RegardsKevin
