Slagter sny dit in steaks (Medium) vir jou, dan sny jy dit maar verder self in lang stukke. Ek meng maar my eie speseryein 'n groot bottel en add soos ek lus kry. !/2 pakkie growwe sea salt1 table spoon ground black peper1 x 100 gr packet or bottle of BBq spice, or steak & chops spice, I like McCormick Bush SpiceLots of Coliander seeds, which I toast lightly for few min. put in a ziplock bag and roll it with a bottle to crush the seeds.Recipes call for vinager which only tenderises the meat but I buy rump steak anyway, so don't use it. Lightly sprinkle over layered meat, cover & leave in fridge for 1 day, unpak meat, don't throw the juice off and repak the top lot at the bottom. Leave for another 12 hr. Ek grind myne bo-oor die vleis met 'm pepper mill.kyk na www.biltongmakers.com vir 'n paar idees. Die beste is maar om klein batches te maak totdat jy die resep reg kry.
