Living costs vs income

Hi all. Is there anyone who can comment on teacher salary vs living costs in Western Australia? I'm a bit curious. Is it possible to work live and save money? I would really want to be able to save money every month. Please share your insights and experiences.

Depends on a few factors?

Are you single, married, partner? 

Kids or no kids?

 

Where in WA? Some regional areas offer Country Teaching Program Allowance, as well as possible housing allowances if in a rural area. 

 

Cost of living has definitely increased in Australia, but I firmly believe that you should be able to save or save more if compared to a similar job in South Africa
