Yes, activating your SC189 visas is as simple as presenting your passport and proceeding through border control and into Australia. You do not require a copy of your visa grant letter, however, I usually would recommend taking it just in case. Your visa is linked to your passport so you will just need to show your passport and the border control officer will check that and their system should show them detail of your visa.
