I'm applying for a passport for my 12 year old son. however, I lost his unabridged birth certificate and only have an abridged version. Do you know if the Australian govt accept an abridged certificate for child passport applications? If not, any tips, experiences, timelines on applying for an unabridged birth certificate while based in Australia?
