High School aged 19

We are currently working through the process of immigrating to Australia. Sydney specifically.

I have done a lot of research in regards to High School in Sydney Australia, however, I have one concern and I was hoping someone would be able to assist me here.

If we are able to move this year 2022, my son is in year 11 and he turns 18 this year.

I am concerned that we may not be able to enroll him for year 12 (matric) in a public school next year because of his age.

There seems to be a consistency that the age limit is up to 18 for high school.

If not a traditional high school, what are my options on a non-residency visa?
