Grant2Oz
Hi, I am in discussions with a company in Sydney regarding an employee sponsored visa. I have been told that their immigration lawyers advise that the company should wait for clarity on borders reopening, before applying for the 482 Visa. Does anyone have any experiences to share that could shed some light on the topic? I would assume that the earlier the application the better, rather than waiting for clarity on borders? Thanks Grant
TeeTMI
There are a variety of reasons why an employer may decide not to submit a 482 nomination at this stage until there is more clarity on the borders - unless it is a 'critical' occupation. For example - one reason they might be doing this might be that the Nomination might be assessed and refused.
