However we have just been asked to make the second payment which means we shall be granted our permanent parent visa 143 once final payment is made. SD_MOA Posted June 13, 2019 Report Share Posted June 13, 2019 Hello Bernadette, If you are currently in Australia on a standard SC600 visa then you will need to be outside of Australia for DHA to grant your visa. They normally ask you to do this prior to grant. You only have to be out of Australia for a short period (I generally tell my clients to book a trip to Bali/New Zealand (or wherever they choose) for about a week once DHA ask you to leave.
