Francois72
Hi I'm asking for my partner. My partner have 2 kids from a previous marriage in South Africa ( a 15 and 10 Years old) living with there mom. We received Australian citizenship last year (By Referral) Will it be possible to apply for Australian citizenship for the 2 kids although they don't stay with us and only visit from time to time. They would probably like to come and study in Australia one day. It would be great if someone can advise us on this matter. SD_MOA
Hello Francois, Before they can apply for citizenship they first need to be Australian permanent residents. If they are not yet permanent residents then the first step would be to apply for Child visas for them. Let me know if you need more information on the Child visas.
