Decided to move over to Oz

Yup, did a bit of investigation with my wife, plan to move over to Oz soon.

Spoke to a few friends that moved to Melbourne and Adelaide, looks like a much better country for us.

I am a Mechanical Engineer with Pr. Eng., dont think Engineer Australia recognize it, so will have to do the whole registration all over again.

I also dont think finding an engineering job would be super difficult.

Now I have to appoint an agent, probably migrate2Oz, filled in the form on its website this morning, but I do live close to them so wouldnt be a problem just to pop in.

My plan is to have it log in the EOI this year, which means the skills assessment has to be done and PTE exams as well. I will be moving to Northern Cape for a project for 2 years from Jan 2019, so I can take it slow.

Let's see how things will plan out.

Welcome to the crazy, intense journey.

For many here, moving to Australia was the best thing they ever did.

Good luck, you seem to have it figured out so far.

Thanks, guys. Yup, appointed Migrate2Oz already and I will read some of the PTE notes from now on. Gonna be interesting.

If all goes well, I should have 75 pts for 189 visa.
