My BIL arrives around 27/02 and will be working in Sarina. My sister and her 12 y/o daughter will be arriving after the end of term 1 (2nd April). I would like to know if you think it is better to live in Sarina or in Mackay and also which state high schools can you suggest. They will be on a 457 visa so private schools are out at this stage. Any advice would be much appreciated. I have done some research and it seems that Mackay Northern Beaches State High School is a pretty good school but you do need to live in the catchment area. Some comments about one road in and one road out and overpopulation in the northern beaches area have come up. Again I appreciate any advice.
