Can someone please explain to me how exactly MyImmiTracker works?

I have submitted my EOI for a NSW 190 visa with 65 points for Developer Programmer via an agent in June and haven't received an invite yet.

On MyImmiTracker, it looks there are people with the same amount of points for the same category having submitted as late as November that have received invitations.

What am I missing here??

MyImmiTracker is essentially a website where people like us capture our own visa or EOI progress.  The way I understand EOI invitations is that it works like a queue per points per category.  You should be in front of somebody that submitted in November.

 

Also take into consideration that the data is captured by hand and people might have captured their own information incorrectly.

Thank you, Chris. That is how I understood it as well. I am concerned that my agent never submitted my EOI. I asked them for proof of submission and they said that it it not possible to give me anything to show when mine was submitted......

They resubmitted it now.

Umm, surely they get a reference number or confirmation email???  How can they update or cancel an EOI application if they don't have some sort of reference?

So for anyone that is interested, my agent resubmitted my EOI last week, and we got an invitation today!  They did send me a screenshot to prove that my EOI was submitted in June.  Clearly there was something very fishy going on, but all is well that ends well.
