Visitor Visa

Hi All

Have applied for my nephew online. Paid the fee and he has to go to JHB for biometrics and medicals.

Now I ask, when I login and it shows my Application Status, do I click the button "Information Provided" now or do i wait until he has done his biometrics and meds first?

Has your nephew gone for the medicals yet? Only once the medicals have been completed and the doctor has uploaded them to your profile using your HAP ID would you then click on the "Information provided button"

Ok thank you for clarifying that. I did at one stage click it but then it mentioned that i have to be certain that i have all the information and everything. I am glad i didnt go ahead.

My nephew has been granted a 4-month visitor visa. Can I book him a one-way ticket for now or must it be a return ticket within those 4 months?

He'll need a return ticket.  I don't think he'll be able to board the plane with a visitor visa and a one way ticket.  They check that sort of thing because deportation costs are borne by the "home" country. It would be a MAJOR red flag to come on a visitor visa and a one way ticket. The intention to stay is just obvious...

Thanx for clearing that up. Was just a bit concerned if he needs to go back earlier than the 4 months? No intention to stay longer than needed.
