TeeTMI Posted May 10, 2017 Report Share Posted May 10, 2017 Following the budget yesterday the details of the visa application charge increases as of 1st July 2017 have been published (increased by CPI and rounded) https://www.border.gov.au/ReportsandPublications/Documents/budget/visa-price-increase-fact-sheet-2017-18.pdf The new temporary parent visa charges, expected to open November 2017, are detailed at: Temporary Sponsored Parent Visa 3 year validity $5,000 5 year validity $10,000 There are other threads on this visa within the forum As of March 2018 under the current plan Employers will no longer be required to meet a Training benchmark but will rather be required to pay a 'Skilling Australians Fund levy' as part of the application: Small Business (turnover<$10M) Temp Visa $1,200 / applicant/year (or part year) Permanent Visa $3,000 (flat rate) Med/Large Business (turnover>$10M) Temp Visa $1,800 / applicant/year (or part year) Permanent Visa $5,000 (flat rate) Therefore, a small business nominating a person for 18 month new TSS visa would pay a $2,400 levy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
