Tntaglia Posted May 3, 2017 Report Share Posted May 3, 2017 We're busy getting all the paperwork ready to do our EOI for 190 visa. The only thing still outstanding is the VETASSESS skills assessment - I'm an actuary. I know the usual turnaround time for VETASSESS is supposed to be 8-10 weeks (correct me if I'm wrong?). But now I also read references that they closed for new assessments due to the changes to the 457 visas recently announced. Can anyone help me understand what is going on, or point me to any articles etc I could read? I'm just trying to figure out if this will have a major impact on our timeline. Thanks! They did temporarily close applications due to changes to 457, but they have reopened.
