Winston Posted April 3, 2017 Report Share Posted April 3, 2017 Hi all, does laptop bags count as an extra carry on luggage that can be brought on the plane for free (plan on using SAA) or is it considered as THE carry on luggage? Mara Posted April 4, 2017 Report Share Posted April 4, 2017 If the laptop is in a sleeve, it is usually allowed, in addition to your carry on luggage, but if you have it in a large computer briefcase, that is regarded as your carry on luggage and you cannot have a second carry on case. This is not specifically for SAA, I have not travelled with them for 20 years, but I travel internationally, fairly often, and the above is usually their criteria. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
