TeeTMI
Western Australia RSMS (187) open again following its closure last month. As expected Perth is currently not included in the list of regions that the state will certify for the RSMS Scheme (187 visa), although they have stated that there may be updates on this. The regions currently open for RCB certification towards the 187 visa are: Gascoyne; Great Southern; Kimberley; Mid West; Peel; Pilbara; South West; and Wheatbelt. I understand that applications received before 13 March 2017 will be continue to be processed, including for the Perth region. Western Australian are currently updating the list of occupations included on their skilled migration occupation list (WASMOL) in respect of their sponsorship of 190 and 489 visas. In the interim they have released a limited list of occupations that they will currently consider sponsorship towards, other occupations previously sponsored remain under review. 251214 Sonographer 253312 Cardiologist 253315 Endocrinologist 253316 Gastroenterologist 253318 Neurologist 253322 Renal medicine specialist 253323 Rheumatologist 253411 Psychiatrist 253511 Surgeon (general) 253512 Cardiothoracic surgeon 253513 Neurosurgeon 253514 Orthopaedic surgeon 253515 Otorhinolaryngologist 253518 Urologist 253521 Vascular surgeon 253911 Dermatologist 253913 Obstetrician and gynaecologist 253914 Ophthalmologist 253915 Pathologist 253917 Diagnostic and interventional radiologist 253918 Radiation oncologist Similarly I understand that applications received before 13 March 2017 will be continue to be processed according to the previous requirements.
