Flitz Posted March 14, 2017 Report Share Posted March 14, 2017 Hello For those that have achieved 8 in their writing please assist .I need some tips I have achieved 7.5 and have studied structure of writing and applied that but still the 8.0 eludes me how do i better my score ? RussellJ Posted March 14, 2017 Report Share Posted March 14, 2017 Hi Flitz, At the risk of embarrassing myself...here are my tips... Writing. SPIDER BEFORE WRITING. This will improve your flow and grammar as opposed to writing on the fly where all the ideas are coming and the sentences end up disjointed because you trying to fit them all in. Key is to use SHORT sentences and words you are comfortable with, no point writing big words and spelling them incorrectly. if it means adding 2 more words to describe instead of 1 big word. Do so. Avoid spelling errors. Remember to use commas. Also remember they are not testing truth. So lie lie lie and make it as simple as possible. ONCE SPIDERED PROPERLY you will find you will write quickly because you dont really have to play out the story you already have a thread and then you just add fluff around it! cheers.
