I'm looking at buying the missus an engagement ring, and was thinking SA might be a bit better priced than OZ? I know the price of gold is standard throughout the world, but wouldn't diamonds be cheaper in SA? Will be mostly in Durban, and Cape Town for a bit. Anyone know a good place to go? Allot os jewelers in SA offer free "fixes" for a short time after buying it, not sure if it's the same there but if it is I would really suggest getting the ring in Oz.
