Question

Points test advice!! please help..

Would i be able to claim 5 points based on the fact that I have been qualified for over 3 years claiming 3-5 years work experience or do I have to apply to trades recognition Australia for migration points advice?

On the DIBP website does anyone have a e-mail address that I can send a e-mail to that can help me with points test advice?

To claim work experience points, you need to apply to have your work experience assessed to see if relevant to your qualification.

Can you give a little bit of background about yourself and what you are hoping to achieve on the points front.

Yes, it's vital to get your experience assessed by whatever authority checks your skills. If you don't then it probably won't be accepted for your visa application, and they will just say that you don't have the points you claimed (and reject your application)
It's also important to have your experience assessed because they have a much more theoretical idea of what constitutes relevant work experience and they are super-finicky about it. So better have that letter of recognition before you pay your visa application fees.
