We applied for citizenship in 8 December and yesterday received email with the test date.
Today hubby received a request to complete Form 1399... Is this because he was in the army in the late 80's (conscription)?
One question asks if you've ever participated in war or armed conflict. For one year of his national service he was on the Angolan border during the Angolan bush war. Do we say yes to that question??
Hopefully someone on the forum has been in a similar situation with this form and can advise...
