TeeTMI Posted December 20, 2016 Report Share Posted December 20, 2016 Details of the 7th December round of Invitations for the 189 and 489 SkillSelect visa invites have been published on the DIBP web site. I have a graph on my website showing how the waiting periods have varied over time http://www.taylormadeimmigration.com/DaystoInvite Interestingly whilst 1800 places were available in this round only 637 invitations were made. The list of occupations invited on a ProRata basis has increased. Although after adding Registered Nurses to the list last month the DIBP have now confirmed that was a mistake. Note that the DIBP have advised that due to a technical issue several of the occupations currently on ProRata were not invited this session, hence the deeming date and number of points required has not been provided for these occupations. .
