457 Approved, what now

Hi all,

 

Our 457 Visa recently came through. I received the following documentation:

 

1. IMMI Approval of Nomination Notification_Me
2. IMMI Grant Notification_Wifey
3. IMMI Grant Notification_Me

 

So what now... Do we print the piece of paper and that's it or do we need to go to an embassy of some sorts?

You don't even need to print them, I did just to be on the safe side.

 

You get on the plane and that's it really.... everything is in their records.

Rather print and carry it as sometimes they are a bit confused on the SA side when checking in as there is no physical visa in your passport.

Once you show them the printout the check you in.

 

On the AUS side no need, they can give you a full run down of you and your visa by scanning your passport. I made a point to ask what info was available on the system :-)
