ottg
Often forumites ask what life is like in Australia. As you ask on a Saffer forum you will obvious get our personal experiences and view points. However University of Melbourne developed a report that looked at house hold, income and labour dynamics over 14 years/waves - year-on-year. So if you are looking for a broader, unbiased and more representative view then this report may have value. This report presents brief statistical analyses of the first 14 waves of the study, which were conducted between 2001 and 2014. It examines 12 topics: family life; economic wellbeing; labour market outcomes; household wealth; housing wealth; superannuation; material deprivation; child health and heath care utilisation; private health insurance; physical activity; and sleep. https://www.melbourneinstitute.com/downloads/hilda/Stat_Report/statreport_2016.pdf
