We are considering just paying for self catering or holiday accommodation for the first couple of months. The other option is to rent a fully furnished flat for 6 months (since there does not seem to be anything for only 3 months) and then to store our container in SA for 4 months while we look for somewhere to rent. Renting furnisher seem more expensive than just renting fully furnished. Any suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated. PS: We will be in Sydney by the end of July/start of August. Jobizzle Posted June 29, 2016 Report Share Posted June 29, 2016 Depending on the size of your family, you might consider booking with airbnb, it will be your cheapest option by far. I stayed with my 'host family' for a month. Alternatively, another option is flatmates.com.au, where you can move into a shared house, its usually furnished with a bed provided, can provide a few months accommodation, and will give you a rental reference.
