It depends on a lot of factors.  Perhaps if you give us your age, occupation and qualifications we can give you better advice.

A migration agent will be able to give you a free initial consultation to tell you what your options are too @TeeTMI

Welcome to the forum!

From your question I'm guessing that immigration is a fairly new thought for you?  It is quite an involved process and sometimes you can feel like you're caught up in a maze.  You're at the right place for advice, information, support and everything else - both for all the things you need to know and do while still in South Africa and for once you arrive in Australia, settling in etc.

I'd recommend you start here: https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1

If you're still confused after that, it is worth getting a free initial assessment from a MARA registered migration agent - we have a few here on the forum.  Make sure whoever you use is registered otherwise you'll have no recourse should things go pear-shaped.  There are many dodgy agents out there, ready to rip you off. It is illegal for an agent to guarantee you a visa!  If it sounds too good to be true, it generally is...

Once you know if you will qualify for a visa, start getting all your documents and ducks in a row:  unabridged marriage & birth certificates, etc.  There are many people on the forum who will be able to steer you in the right direction and help out with where to get what.

Probably the most important part of the whole process is to make sure your whole family is on board and that you're all very realistic about starting a new life pretty much without a support system in a foreign country.  It's tough, challenging and at times you ask yourself if you've done the right thing.  At the end of it, it's all worth it.

Good luck with your journey!

Like @RYLC said, it depends on many things. The Aussies have so many different visas! And each one has different requirements. You are best off reading on the border.gov website as advised.

The short answer to your question, given no further information, is: Yes, there are visas that can get a person into Australia, permanently, without a job offer.

They have other requirements though, like a skill or trade on the SOL (skilled occupations list), and you have to meet a total number of points given for: age, English ability, training, partner skills (if applicable), work experience.... Or there are family visas, carer, spouse, refugee, investor, entrepreneur...every visa has different requirements.

That is why we cannot answer if you can get a visa without a job offer, if we don't know more about you.

You can probably talk to @TeeTMI or @SD_MOA, two registered migration agents on this forum. They can generally point you in the right direction to start your research, at no charge.

Good luck!!!
