Plans for the weekend

So, as it there is no school/work tomorrow, it is a clear night tonight and Saturn is apparently sitting just above the moon in the night sky, as well as being very close to Earth, we are throwing the kids, the telescope and loads of spare scarves/gloves/beanies and jackets in the car, have The Hobbit on tape (aka loaded onto phone) and are heading out to Emerald, where there is minimal light pollution.

Tomorrow is brekkie with a friend in Melbourne CBD - I do believe that the combination of poached egg and avocado should go down as one of the Australia's great contributions to mankind.

What fun things do the forumites have planned for the weekend?

Looking for work! Its been 4 months and it feels lately like all we do all day and night long. Not fun as such. But appreciating the lovely view from my window and the quiet nights and beautiful days. :)

We left Sydney yesterday morning for a trip down the coast, staying in a rental down in Berrera 3-hours South.

Spent the day in Jervis Bay & Booderee National Park where we saw Dolphins, Wales, Kangaroos (on our door step and in the park) and loads of bird life.

Watched the sun set over Swan Lake and are now having hot chocolate, marshmallows and playing dominos.

Happy Queens Birthday Everyone!

Cheers

Matt

Not fun at all. Looking for a jobs is a full time job .

Putting a bit of fun and variety into it increase the chances and helps to keep sanity.

Hubby is off to Perth on Thursday as he starts work on the Monday. The car has been put on the truck (with items which is great) but unfortunately leaves us with no car. So we have just been spending the time going to the park having family time. We hope to join him in about 2 weeks then its goodbye Melbourne. Quite sad ? So many places and people that we didn't get the chance to see.
