I know this question has been asked 100 times before so please excuse, but the answers are all different and I thought maybe someone here can shed some light on it.
I started working for a company October 2015 on a 457 Visa. The company then agreed to sponsor me for PR (subclass 187) we lodged the 187 application May 2016 wich is 7 months down the line, the PR will probably take 6-12 month to be granted,by then I would have been with the company for a year and a half.
What I want to know is,does the 2 year obligation only starts when they grant my PR? Also if I leave the company after receiving my PR would the DIBP take into consideration the time I worked for the company on my 457,and maybe consider it a genuine effort?
