Ella007
Hi. Im looking for advise on the best cheapest way to travel between melbourne,Sydney and Adelaide? We flying to melbourne and want to stay a week then head to Sydney for 3days and Adelaide 3days. Flying back from Melbourne again so will have to travel back to Melbourne after seeing Adelaide. Is There trains that we could take or is the best option to fly? If flying is the best way what is the cheapest airline to use? Thanks
zamunda
Hi Flying would be your best option in the interest of time and also cost. Air lines you can try are JetStar, Tiger Air and Virgin. Prices are pretty competitive between these air lines. Prices also vary depending on the day of the week as well as time of day. So do a bit of research on the respective web sites. I fly a lot from Adelaide to Melbourne return and find Tuesdays and Wednesdays to offer the lowest rates. You can also try the web site www.discoveraustralia.com.au I use this site sometimes to get air tickets as well as package deals which include air fairs and car hire. Hope this helps. Cheers
Mara
These cities are quite a distance apart, and as you have limited time, you may be better off flying. The cheapest airline is probably Tiger Air, but they charge for everything, so if you have a lot of luggage, it could cost you. Also try Jetstar. Titus
Do a quick search on webjet.... If you find a deal you like, you can go directly to the airline and book through them to save the booking fee... Dont forget to check baggage allowances etc!
