(no I dont get paid for this plug I have met on occasion David Christie from Human Resources Consultant, who has >30 years HR consultancy experience here in Perth. He has just release his latest book "Proof of Vipers" available here https://lnkd.in/bd_Svrd In his book he explained who are most likely to become a victim of bullying: "when bullies were asked what type of person is targeted for abusive mistreatment, and the respondents believe the targets were kind, coorperative, and agreeable" He goes further to explain how to identify bullies early to avoid them. He then explains your defence against those bullies: a. pick the battles you can win b. plan strategically to rid your live of anguish c. plan strategically to dis-empower self-doubt d. stand up for your self e. learn resilience He also give some advice how to avoid them etc. A quick and interesting read on Kindle with some local examples but backup by international statistics.
